NP261HD remanufactured replacement transfer case from THE GEAR SHOP! This is the manually shifted transfer case that fits 01-07 GM Trucks with RPO code NP2. This transfer case has a 32 spline input shaft for the 4L80 automatic transmission and manual transmission. This transfer case comes with a new upgraded, heavy duty aluminum rear case half installed to resolve the “pump rub” issue common to the 261 transfer case.

This is a remanufactured replacement transfer case built BULLDOG TOUGH to exceed OEM standards and tested for the highest quality & function on the market.

This transfer case is sold with no up-front core charge however, it is being sold on an exchange basis and we do require a qualified return core & the original shipping container to be returned to us within 30 days of the delivery date or an additional missing core & container fee to be paid. THERE WILL BE NO WARRANTY ON THE NEW UNIT UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED EITHER A QUALIFIED RETURN CORE & THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING CONTAINER OR AN ADDITIONAL MISSING CORE & CONTAINER FEE. Please see our “Core Policy” page for details. A prepaid UPS ground return shipping label will be provided for you. TGS pays for the return shipping on the core when using the supplied UPS ground shipping label.

Driveline problems can be difficult to diagnosis properly. It is very important that you are sure that your driveline issue is actually being caused by a transfer case failure and not some other failed component before ordering a reman unit. Once a unit is installed in your vehicle we will not accept it as a return so please make sure that you actually need a replacement transfer case before ordering.
